Introducing the State Football Centre and Home of the Matildas, a groundbreaking project spearheaded by Football Victoria, marks a significant milestone in Victoria's sporting landscape. Nestled in Bundoora, this state-of-the-art facility elevates game day experiences with amenities such as change rooms and grandstand seating for approximately 1,000 spectators, complemented by versatile event spaces and a café.
Beyond match days, the Center boasts high-performance facilities tailored to nurture athlete development, including a players' lounge, education space, and cutting-edge strength and conditioning areas. Aquatic rehabilitation and sports science facilities further underscore the Center's commitment to holistic player well-being. Notably, the indoor futsal pitch caters to diverse training needs, while Football Victoria's administrative hub ensures seamless operations.
Korb's contributions to the project include the supply and installation of tactile indicators, stair nosing, and entry matting, enhancing accessibility and safety throughout the facility.
